Goals of the preliminary meeting
To guide your reflexion and to help you to improve your vision of the situation. You will make the decision to work with a consultant only if you are able to determine your need. This meeting is the means of initiating a reflexion already... It is often necessary to meet twice to finalize this step and before carrying out a service proposal.

During the meeting, we wonder about the nature of your concern:
Does it relate on a function or the all company?
Is it a significant subject: a new organization, a removal?
Does it relate on the current environment of the company: competitors, market...?
Which are the origins of your concern?
Is the concern a description, which?
Is the concern a precise event, which? (Objective account)
Is the concern unexpected?
Since when do you have this concern (date of appearance)?
Does a link (correlation) with other events exist?
Which was the situation of the company the previous year at the same date?
Are your concerns shared by other people in the company?
Do you fear repercussions on the company in a short and/or medium term?
Then we quickly look at the stakes and the priorities
Is the need permanent or specific?
To answer your need, we have to identify your specific expertise needs (transmission, Merge-Acquisition, market research, quality, risks analyse) or a more general know-how (strategy, management, structural organization...)?
What is the emergency degree compared to the current situation?
If there are several problems, which weight to give to each one of them?
By what do you want to start?

Lastly, we quickly try to appreciate the means which will be mobilized in the company

Does the project require a high workload inside the company staff?
Are you able to estimate it?
Who is directly concerned with this action?

This meeting makes it possible to scope the project, to define the perimeter, to evaluate, already, the means to implement...
